I wasn’t feeling good the other day so I went to my favorite restaurant, DZ Akins, and had “Mish Mash” soup, which is basically Matzo Ball soup with chicken, noodles, carrots and kreplach. I don’t know why, but I always feel better after I eat it. I have heard it called “Jewish Penicillin” and I think I agree 🙂 Here is a photo of my meal. What do you like to eat when you are under the weather?

Your blog is certainly easy to read and navigate. I see a number of interesting topics but Comfort Food drew me here. I am smiling because this, the first post I am reading is all about Chicken ”feel” good soup. Definitely comfort food in my book. When I am sick…or just in need of comfort…there is something comforting in Chicken soup. I have called this Japanese Penicillin as well.
We were at the store today and I bought Chicken And Dumplings Soup and a chicken vegetable noodle soup.
Comfort food.
I am here from Blogging 101. I just happened to read your post…came to your blog and found this.
So Thank you. I am rambling. I tend to do that….So Good night from Florida.
